The Recycling is Real campaign was created by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) to show how recycling happens, where it happens, and introduce the people who make it happen.
This latest episode highlights the work done between Cyclyx, ExxonMobil, and TenCate to recycle artificial turf. This joint effort creates a specialized solution for end-of-life turf material to be broken down into raw materials so it can be used again to make new products. Representatives across the collaboration describe the innovative process of working together to achieve this breakthrough in sustainability.
“We’re honored that Cyclyx’s work with ExxonMobil and TenCate is featured in the latest Recycling is Real video,” says Bill Cooper, Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Development of Cyclyx. “This series showcases the real, innovative work happening right now across the United States. While the work isn’t always easy—especially with materials such as artificial turf that are deemed difficult to recycle—the outcome is rewarding. Cyclyx is proud to be a leader in addressing plastic waste as we help make it possible to convert today’s plastic waste into tomorrow’s plastic feedstock and other materials.”
