Tim Barnette is Vice President – Polymers and Sustainability of AmSty. He was appointed to this position in 2012.

Previously, Mr. Barnette served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexpak Corporation, a global leader in precision-molded package and content manufacturing for the music, cinematic, and videogame industries. Prior to joining Nexpak, Mr. Barnette was Vice President, Sales & Marketing, with Atlanta Precision Molding Company, Ltd., a joint venture of Mitsubishi and Sumitomo Heavy Industries.

Before entering the packaging market, Mr. Barnette worked as a commercial executive in Huntsman Chemical Corporation’s polystyrene and polypropylene businesses in Chesapeake, Virginia and in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Barnette entered the petrochemical industry in 1981 as a polyethylene product engineer in Freeport, Texas, with The Dow Chemical Company before moving into commercial roles marketing polyethylene, polystyrene and specialty styrenic resins in Dow’s Atlanta office in 1984.

Mr. Barnette holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jacque Bendon was appointed Vice President – Industrial in September 2019. Industrial encompasses numerous commodity areas including construction, forest products, metals and ores, specialized markets, minerals, industrial chemicals, plastics and soda ash.

Most recently, Bendon was assistant vice president– Industrial, a position she held since February 2018. Bendon began her career with Union Pacific in 1998 as a corporate auditor. Since then, she has held several roles within the Marketing & Sales department including positions at UPDS, a previous wholly owned subsidiary of Union Pacific that is now part of Loup Logistics, as well as roles in the Chemicals, Industrial and Energy teams.

Bendon graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University with a BSBA in Finance.

She and her husband, Mark, live in Omaha with their three children.

Ron Cotterman is the Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs at SEE. He is responsible for innovations to drive total circularity across value chains and for achieving SEE’s 2025 sustainability pledge and its goal to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.

Ricardo Cuetos currently serves as Vice President Standard Products Americas at INEOS Styrolution America LLC.

Ricardo Cuetos’ career began in 1994 at BASF Mexicana, where he held various technical, production and commercial positions before moving to BASF Corporation in 1999 and becoming Global Business Development Manager. In 2003, he was appointed Global Team Leader for the Engineering and Styrenics plastics divisions of BASF South East Asia in Singapore, with responsibility for global sales and marketing activities for the IT Industry segment. In 2009, he became Business Director of BASF Styrenics business in North America.

On January 1, 2011 he was appointed Vice President of Styrolution LLC taking over North and South America for Styrolution adding manufacturing, supply chain, R&D and controlling to his responsibilities of product management, market development, sales and technical service in North America.

Ricardo Cuetos holds a chemical engineering degree and has more than 25 years of experience in the plastics and petrochemical industries, working in North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Mary-Jane Hogg is Global Director of Waste Strategy for Dow, sitting within the Hydrocarbons Business.

She joined Dow in the UK in 1988 in the commercial function and since then has served the company in a variety of roles, and countries including Business Development, Marketing and Product Management within the plastics envelope. In 2010 she moved to the Feedstocks & Energy business to run the physical trading team in Europe, and in 2020 became the Global Director for Sustainable Feedstocks. At the start of 2022 she moved to the Hydrocarbon business to focus on Waste strategy.

MJ holds an M.B.A. from The Open University and a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the University of Surrey (UK).

Jacqueline Hollands leads and develops MilliporeSigma’s initiatives and programs that meet the sustainability needs for customers. She has implemented product recycling options, such as the Biopharma Single-Use Product Recycling Program and the ech2o™ Lab Water Cartridge Recycling Program. Currently, she is working on developing innovative recycling solutions for the life science industry.

Throughout her career, Jacqueline has demonstrated an ability to communicate technical material clearly and effectively to all levels of audience, and to develop and implement initiatives that create positive change, efficiency and increased profitability. Her work in developing and implementing recycling programs for challenging plastic waste streams affords her the opportunity to continue to push the boundaries in today’s recycling infrastructure.

In addition, Jacqueline has more than 25 years of experience within the life science industry, holding positions in biological research, training, sales and sales support, as well as serving as program manager on several product development projects for detection instrumentation platforms.

Jacqueline holds a bachelor’s in biological sciences from Hood College and has nine years of lab experience, having performed multiple techniques in the fields of molecular and protein biochemistry, immunology and cell biology at Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University and Oxford University.

Geoffrey Inch currently leads the Circular Economy & Sustainability team for Braskem’s North America business unit and is responsible for the company’s sustainable development strategy and performance in North America. He is leading the development of Braskem’s recycled product portfolio, infrastructure growth within the plastics recycling value chain, community engagement projects that educate on the value of recycling and internal sustainability programs to reduce Braskem’s carbon footprint and minimize waste generation.

An executive with 32 years of experience in the Chemical and Plastics industry, Catherine Keenan has deep experience in strategy development, government and public affairs, sustainability, crisis management, stakeholder engagement, branding and reputation management.

She served as Vice President, Public Affairs, Sustainability and Environment Health and Safety at Trinseo S.A., a global materials company from 2010 to 2020. She began her career at The Dow Chemical Company and held a series of leadership roles with responsibilities including Mergers and Acquisitions integration, industry affairs, public policy issues management, media relations and marketing communications.

She is founder of a consulting firm dedicated to serving organizations that are accelerating transformation, by building affordable, business-centric programs for sustainability and corporate responsibility that build value with customers, employees and stakeholders.

She is a graduate of Lehigh University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Science Writing and a minor in Chemistry.

John Lovenburg is the vice president, Environment & Sustainability for BNSF Railway. He leads a team responsible for sustainability and climate change; energy and advanced energy innovation; environmental law; construction permitting, environmental field operations and engineering; remediation; and hazardous materials.

John is active in sustainable development, operations, innovation, governance, and markets. He is the Executive Advisor for BNSF’s sustainable business markets initiative. He is on the Board of Directors of the Environmental Law Institute and a member of the Cyclyx Executive Advisory Board for advanced recycling of plastics.

John has more than 30 years of environmental, water and sustainability experience and was previously with CH2M (now Jacobs) where he was vice president, Global Site Remediation and Revitalization.

John has a Bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Science degree in hydrogeology from San Diego State University.

Matt Marks joined the Americas Sustainability team as Sr. Sustainability Specialist reporting to Sr. Manager Sustainability Strategy, Americas. He is responsible for key strategic initiatives in the areas of Circular Economy, Climate Change, Advocacy and others.

Matt has held various roles within SABIC, from technical, marketing and commercial leadership roles to regulatory affairs. His experience, spanning 28 years, includes working with various industry stakeholders to foster cooperation across the value chain and with the regulatory community to promote and deliver the benefits of plastics and polymer composites in automotive applications.

In his most recent role with SABIC, Matt led the Automotive Market Development and Technical Service team in North and South America. Under Matt’s leadership, his team worked closely with customers and development partners troubleshooting technical issues and developing new applications and product solutions.

He is chair emeritus of the Automotive team within the Plastics Division of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and looks to continue his industry engagement with the other ACC teams focused on sustainability.

Matt earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University. Additionally, he has published and presented at multiple industry conferences and published over 15 patents.

Steve Russell is a thought leader on plastics, sustainability and the circular economy, and a trusted bridge builder who can spot opportunities to deliver lasting results. He formed SKR Strategies to help clients better understand complicated landscapes, and advance solutions that benefit people, prosperity and the planet.

Throughout 25 years at ACC Steve held a variety of leadership roles, most recently as Vice President, Plastics, managing a board of 20 C-Suite executives at leading petrochemical and plastic resin producers. Steve provided transformative leadership on advocacy, external relationships, environmental performance and sustainability. Key accomplishments include having:

• Led a team of 25 high-performing advocacy, policy and sustainability experts working to improve recycling and recovery, advance innovative technologies and solutions, and create partnerships to keep plastic out of our ocean and environment
• Led the design and launch of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a $1.5B initiative among global chemical, plastic, consumer brand and waste management companies to deliver catalytic investment in systems to end plastic waste in the environment to ensure a more circular economy, particularly in emerging economies
• Provided chemical/plastic industry perspectives at U.S. House committee hearings, and to documentary filmmakers, investigative journalists and live televised news programs
• Joined U.S. government delegations to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation dialogue and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development as an invited expert
• Convened and/or served on a number of industry/NGO dialogue groups and partnerships, including on the Steering Committee of Ocean Conservancy’s Trash Free Seas Alliance.

Mr. Russell is also a Board Member of Keep America Beautiful (currently Board Chair), and a founding member of the National Democratic Institute’s Equal Voices Committee. He earned a BA from the University of Kansas, and a JD from California Western School of Law. He lives in Washington, D.C.

Paul Turner is a former Senior Executive in the Chemical Industry, having worked with reputable, blue chip companies such as DuPont, LyondellBasell, Hoechst AG, Borealis and The Dow Chemical Company. Paul was Chairman of the Polyolefins Group with Plastics Europe, the European Plastics Association. He has been instrumental in forming PCEP, the Polyolefins Circular Economy Platform, which is a value chain approach to drive the circular economy for polyolefins in collaboration with converters, brand owners, recyclers and waste management companies. Today, Paul provides Non-Executive Director and Advisory Board support to senior executives within companies operating in the Plastics value chain to drive the sustainable use of plastics.

Stacy Putman is the Manager of Leadership Development & Strategic Circular Economy Projects for

INEOS. She maintains an office at INEOS’ North American HQ in League City, Texas, but is

typically found in the community at the manufacturing sites or with other key stakeholders.

Stacy joined INEOS in 2005 where she began as Polymers Commercial Operations Manager.

Subsequent roles were SHEQ Corporate Manager and Site Director for the Carson, CA

Polypropylene facility. Returning to Texas in late 2018, she served as the Sr. Project Director on

a $1b+ capital project expansion at the INEOS Brazoria County site through 2020.

Stacy serves on the EXCO advisory committee with AFPM, the EHCMA, and Eco Alliance

workforce development committees, and similar committees with many community colleges

and community organizations focused on access to fulfilling employment. In 2016, she was

honored with the Manufacturing Institute’s (MI) Top 100 Women in Manufacturing in North

America award and has served in an advisory capacity to MI since 2016. Stacy earned her

bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University holds a Certificate from

Cornell in Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility and is working on graduate studies in Circular

Economy at Bradford University in England.

Mariane Maximous is currently Vice President, Americas Feedstock and Mechanical Recycling at Lyondellbasell.

Mariane held various roles within LyondellBasell for the past 17 years spanning across Manufacturing, S&OP, Finance, Strategy & Planning, and Commercial business units.

Prior to Lyondellbasell, Mariane spent over four years in manufacturing roles at ExxonMobil Beaumont Olefins & Aromatics plant.

Mariane holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a MBA from University of Houston and a Global Management Academy certificate from Harvard Business School.
